Hi! My name is Maria Calder/Hadjikonstandis. I was born in Greece and I have been in New Zealand more than 20 years.

I am a professional teacher with a B.A. and Post.Grad.Dip. in ESLT & TESOL Cert., specializing in ESL/IELTS and Academic and General Ielts, here in Auckland.  I have amassed a wealth of experience in my field.

My strengths are: strong class management skills and designing IELTS/ESL effective programmes and materials with proven results.

I am a very well-prepared and organized teacher and I always motivate my students and encourage them to achieve excellent standards. My role as a language teacher is to create a suitable learning environment, which will encourage my students to learn.

My personal objective for my course is to be an effective teacher, so that I can help others learn in a creative and supportive way.
